In 2008, in the wake of the global financial crisis, Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA) published the first version of the “Giving in Challenging Times” guide. That guide sought to help philanthropists chart a course forward in those uncertain circumstances, and this new one was made to provide them with updated and more detailed insights on giving thoughtfully in these challenging times.
