The study commissioned by WINGS represents an initial mapping of organizations supporting philanthropy in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). Its motivation is based on the need for a better understanding of the ecosystem of organizations that work and support the philanthropic sector in the LAC region. The author addresses their characteristics, strengths, priorities and needs in order to apprehend mechanisms to strengthen them and improve their performance, understanding that they add value and service to philanthropic and civil society organizations.
