The 10th edition of the World Giving Index was produced by the UK-based Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), which is represented in Brazil by the Institute for the Development of Social Investment (IDIS). The 10-year global study of 1.3 million people in 126 countries reveals that despite the strengthening of the giving culture, there has been a downward trend in this behavior, especially in some of the richest places in the world, such the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
