“Partnership” has become an increasingly common concept in the global development dialogue and in the work of international NGOs (INGOs) over the past decade. There is growing belief that working in partnership — particularly multi-stakeholder, cross-sector partnership — leads to more innovative solutions and deeper, broader, more sustained impact. In October 2014, FSG, supported by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, organized a roundtable discussion with twelve leaders from international NGOs (INGOs) and donors to reflect on the challenges and opportunities associated with pursuing multi-stakeholder partnerships.
