This manual aims to increase the advocacy skills of civil society organisations as well as their influence on public policies in order to contribute to social transformation. The core of the Manual is the Advocacy and Policy Influencing Cycle, which draws from the Project Management Cycle. It stresses that policy influencing should be embedded in an organisation’s theory of change (ToC). The knowledge and skills in the manual are based on the experience of global training and consultancy agency MDF. The case studies in the manual are mostly from the work of CSOs from the Western Balkans and Turkey.
