The Evaluation Working Papers (EWP), from the Evaluation Office at UNICEF, are documents that present strategic evaluation findings, lessons learned and innovative approaches and methodologies.

The previous publications in this series have already made important contributions to the debate on how monitoring and evaluation can enhance evidence-based policy making. This publication furthers the debate by providing new analysis on strengthening country evaluation capacities, and in moving from policies to results through country-led monitoring and evaluation systems.
