Philanthropic Foundations Canada (PFC) is amplifying the voices of sector leaders responding to COVID-19. In the spirit of offering alternative means of capacity building, they have launched #WebinarWednesday, a weekly resource that brings sector leaders to discuss topics that impact the philanthropic work. This fourth webinar (with Jonathan Hutchinson, Foundation House) will focus on various aspects of cybersecurity in organizations. In today’s connected world, everyone benefits from advanced cyber defense strategies. At an organizational level, specifically for non-profits, cybercriminals have a tendency to target smaller organizations because they are seen as less tech-savvy. Data is what cybercriminals crave. And non-profits hold sensitive data such as donor information, Social Insurance Numbers, private emails, health information, employee and volunteer records and so on.
