Despite the rapid global progress in reducing poverty, inequalities are increasing both between countries and within countries. Thus, it is an appropriate moment to ask whether evaluation as a discipline and evaluators as a profession are addressing equity issues in ways which are indeed right in principle and right in practice. Some of the answers can be found in this document, which brings together a tremendous richness and diversity of evaluation thinking and experience.
